EARN: Great Support for the Success You Deserve
EARN was founded in 1990 to provide a support group for managers and office workers in the Toronto area, who found themselves unemployed as a result of the downsizing trend of employees 40 years and over. During the years of its existence more than 9,000 people have enjoyed the benefits of membership through participation in the regular meetings.
Today EARN is recognised as one of the premier work finding groups within the City of Toronto and GTA. It attracts people from all areas of the professional workforce and everyone is welcome to join and become a member.
The EARN philosophy is summed up in the old adage, "find a person a job and they can work for a few years. Teach a person to find their own jobs and they can work for a lifetime."

TRANSITION, CHANGE, AND LOOKING AHEAD
Calling all alumni and current members in the throes of career self-management. Come to EARN’s “Career Transition Fundraiser,” which combines networking, for our membership’s continuing career development, and fundraising to add to EARN’s resources now that HRSDC has terminated its funding.
You will listen to engaging speakers and hear some equally interesting exchanges of ideas during an afternoon panel discussion. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.
Among our brilliant speakers are John Tory, Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, Peggy Grall speaking on ‘Change’, Judy Suke with a Humour piece, and Kelly Burnett on ‘Personal Marketing’. Following our speakers, we’ll have a dynamic Panel Discussion on ‘Career Makeovers’.
